Advice from someone local

We live here, we work here, and we want Casper businesses to stay open and protected. We are independent, so our advice is not tied to selling you anything.

Cybersecurity help that makes sense

Most small businesses did not set out to become IT experts, and that is fine. We come to you, look at how your technology is set up, and tell you what we find in words everyone in the office can follow. Here is what we offer.

On-site Cybersecurity Assessment

Our core service. We visit your business and review your network, Wi-Fi, computers and devices, user accounts and multi-factor authentication (MFA), backups, and software updates. You get a plain-language report with a security rating, the top issues, and a prioritized action plan.

External Exposure Review

We look at your business the way an outsider would: your public-facing systems, website and email setup, and remote access, so you know what the outside world can see.

Wi-Fi Security Review

We check how your wireless network is set up, whether guests and staff are kept separate, and whether smart devices and other gadgets are creating quiet openings.

Device Inventory

You cannot protect what you do not know you have. We build a clear list of your computers, devices, and software, including what is aging out or needs attention.

Security Improvement Roadmap

A step-by-step plan that sorts fixes into what to do now, what to do soon, and what can wait, so you can spend your time and budget where it counts.

Employee Training

Friendly, practical sessions for your team on spotting phishing emails, building better passwords, avoiding social engineering tricks, and understanding ransomware. No lectures, no scare tactics.

Incident Response Planning

If something does go wrong, who do you call, what do you unplug, and what happens next? We help you write a simple plan so your team is not figuring it out in the middle of a bad day.

Ongoing Advisory Check-ins (Optional)

Want a knowledgeable person to check in from time to time? Our advisory check-ins help you keep up with changes, answer questions, and stay on track. This is optional and never required.

Not sure which one you need? We will point you in the right direction.

Honest help from a neighbor who knows the territory

Independent

We do not sell hardware, software, or long-term IT contracts. Our only job is to tell you what we find and what we recommend, so our advice works for you, not for a sales quota.

Honest and upfront

If your setup is in good shape, we will say so. If there is bad news, we will tell you plainly and help you figure out the next step.

Affordable, with no unnecessary upselling

We recommend what genuinely helps and skip the rest. You will never be pushed into extras you do not need.

Plain language, always

We explain complex technology in terms everyone can understand. We never talk down to anyone, and we never use confusing terms to make a sale.

Local and invested

WyoShield was started here, in response to what we saw happening to businesses around Casper. We are not a faceless national company. We care how this community does.

Respectful of your business

Written permission before testing, a clearly defined scope, and visits scheduled around your workday.

Why WyoShield exists

In 2026, several businesses in and around Casper were hit by serious cyberattacks. These were not faraway corporations. They were local owners and teams who had worked hard to build something, and who suddenly had to deal with the fallout.

Ben decided enough was enough.

He started WyoShield Cyber Solutions with a simple goal: help protect the community. The idea is straightforward. Come to your business, take a careful look at how your technology is set up, find the weak spots, and explain them in plain English, along with practical ways to fix them.

Before WyoShield, many business owners had little idea what threats were out there. After, our hope is that they feel secure knowing someone truly cares about protecting what they have built.

“Thank you so much for your time today. We are gonna get this fixed right up for you.”That is how we greet every customer, and we mean it.

Common questions, honest answers

+What does an assessment actually involve?

We visit your business, talk with you and your team about how you work, and review your network, Wi-Fi, computers and devices, user accounts and MFA, backups, and software updates. With your written permission, we also run authorized scans. Afterward you get a plain-language report with a security rating, your top issues, and a prioritized plan.

+Will this disrupt our work?

We work to keep it light. We schedule visits around your day, and most of the review happens quietly in the background. If something needs a short interruption, we will let you know ahead of time.

+Are you going to try to sell me a bunch of stuff?

No. We are independent, which means we do not sell hardware, software, or long-term IT contracts. We recommend only what will genuinely help, and we will tell you which items matter most and which can wait.

+What do you need from me?

A little of your time, access to your office, and someone who knows how your systems are set up, if that is not you. We will tell you exactly what to have ready during the discovery call and proposal.

+What is the "written permission" you mention?

Before any technical testing, we ask you to sign an agreement that spells out exactly what we are allowed to review and scan, and when. It protects you and us. We never test anything that is not covered.

+Do I need to be a tech person to understand the results?

Not at all. Your report is written for business owners, not engineers. Technical details are provided separately for anyone who wants them, such as your IT person.

+We already have an IT person or company. Does that matter?

That is fine, and it can work well. We are an independent second set of eyes, not a replacement. We can share findings with your IT provider so everyone is on the same page.

+What does it cost?

Every business is different, so we start with a free discovery call and give you a custom quote with a clear scope before anything begins.
